E-Z to use and E_Z to clean. I had to ordered several more mandolines for them. Pinzon Stainless-Steel MandolineI bought a mandolin as a present for a relative. They showed it to others of its capablities and were sold.
Don't get me wrong, this is a wonderful value and is a very good Mandoline. Kind of difficult to change cutter heads and the safety handle is kind of Mickey Mouse. Well worth a second look. Nice workmanship and high quality all the way around. Good versatility with thickness and blade options.
And the clean up is much easier, by hand or in the dishwasher. It can do things that you just can't do with most food processors, the main advantage being that, with food processors, you have 2 or 3 blade attachments, but each blade only produces ONE size (grating or slicing). The mandoline allows many more options for adjusting the size, thickness, and texture of sliced foods.
this slicer is a solid made slicer me and my wife are both chefs and we love it not flimsy at all with many options i would buy it for family
It's difficult to rate a product that you're not sure how to use. I guess that you have to learn by trial and error. I prefer a manual describing the uses and operation of this product.
